BID will provide information and details about the larger annual events in Downtown as one way to inform businesses of the impacts to Downtown. This will include information on road closures, parking into and other details. Events include: Snowdown Parade in late January/early February, Taste of Durango in mid-May, Iron Horse Bicycle Classic over Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July, and Autumn Arts Festival in mid-September. The event promotors will present this information at two BID Coffee and Conversation meetings prior to the event. Businesses are encouraged to attend these meeting to ask questions. The BID monthly meetings are the second Friday of each month at 8:30 to 9:30 am in the community room at TBK Bank.

Autumn Arts Festival
Saturday September 21 and Sunday September 22
The Autumn Arts Festival is a multi-block event on E. 2nd Ave, with an overnight closure.
E. 2nd Ave from College to 9th Strest will be closed to parking and traffic starting Saturday September 21 at 3 pm to Sunday September 22 at 8 pm.
7th and 8th Streets will be closed to the alleys on both sides of E. 2nd Ave.
All three City parking lots on E. 2nd Ave will NOT be open for public parking during this closure.
