Children's Halloween

Join us for Downtown Children's Halloween

Downtown Children's Halloween is a safe option for children to enjoy Halloween festivities in Downtown Durango.
Participating Businesses

Little ghosts and goblins fill the streets of Downtown Durango on October 31 from 4 to 6 pm for Children’s Halloween. This is a fun and safe option for kids to trick or treat in costume at participating merchants in Downtown Durango. Downtown Children's Halloween is presented by Clearnetworx, and also sponsored by the City of Durango.

See below for parking information.

Approximately 75-100 businesses on Downtown's Main Avenue and E. 2nd Avenue will participate in the event by handing out candy or non-candy items to children 10 and under in costume, accompanied by an adult.

Children’s Halloween will also include a Children's Carnival and Trunk-or-Treat at TBK Bank, with games offered by the Boys and Girls Club of La Plata County. The games are free for children 14 and under and offer additional fun activities on Halloween night. In addition to the games, approximately 10-15 businesses will participate in a Trunk-or-Treat event, handing out goodies to the kids. Clearnetworx generously sponsors this event. All donations will support the Boys and Girls Club of La Plata County. Please note there is NO PARKING in the TBK Bank parking lot. Please see the parking tips below.

A full list of participating businesses is available by clicking here. This list includes businesses handing out non-candy items so that parents who have kids with food alergies know where they can go.

If you are a business and would like to participate, contact Tanya at tanyac@downtowndurango.org
