Welcome to PCC Southwest's Durango site!  Our classrooms and office are at the Commons building in downtown Durango.  Our students can take general education and transfer courses in Agriculture, Early Childhood Education, EMT and Pre-Health.  We are a comprehensive community college in Colorado serving the counties of Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma and San Juan.  Our main campus is located between Mancos and Cortez.  PCC Southwest offers day and evening classes in-person, virtually, and online.

Our dedicated faculty and staff at PCC Southwest are committed to supporting you throughout your academic journey.  We offer enrollment services such as advising, financial aid, and registration assistance.  Tutoring is also available.

In addition, our Durango site is home to our Gateway to College program, which is a high-quality, instruction-led educational experience in an alternative environment: a college campus. Gateway is looking for students who have the desire and determination to learn, work hard, and earn a high school diploma and college credits.

• Gateway graduates receive a traditional high school diploma from their district high school while earning college credits toward an associate degree or certificate.  
• The program is open to students between the ages of 17 and 20 who may not have had success in other learning environments. 
• Gateway to College offers flexible schedules and classes each semester.
• The program covers the cost of tuition and books for eligible students. Students pay only a minimal fee each semester associated with classes, college resources and labs.
