Accessibility History

June 2018 - Using Lighthouse, we corrected color contrast ratios and page structure to match the newly released WCAG 2.1 standard.

November 2020 - Checked current content for ALT tags in images and made updates to the site's content management system to ensure that these practices are applied no matter who is editing the content.

November 2021 - Cycled through the site's main pages with a screen reader to ensure clear and easy navigation and readability.

December 2023 - Further evaluation using WAVE tool and Lighthouse to track down areas where content needed to be brought up to the standards set in WCAG 2.2

August 2024 - Improved the main navigation menu for better performance using keyboard only.
