Grant Applications

Since 2002, in order to promote local and out of town attendance at Durango special events, the Durango Business Improvement District (BID) has been pleased to present Special Event marketing grants to a number of special events, including:

Durango Independent Film Festival
Durango Bluegrass Meltdown
Durango Arts Festival
Durango Wine Experience
Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering
Durango Arts & Crafts Conference
Durango Heritage Celebration
Four Corners Biker Rally Association
The purpose of the grants is to stimulate and support business in the District, by assisting special events in their marketing, promotion and ability to attract visitors to Durango.

The BID marketing grants (ranging in amounts from $500 to $5,000 max) are designated marketing funds for organizations to be used to broadly promote their events to attract more business to Durango retail shops, restaurants, hotels, and tourist sites.
