Tips for removing Graffiti:
-first take a look at what type of surface the graffiti is marked on: painted? metal? unfinished wood? concrete? plastic?
-Test the removal surface and graffiti on a small corner to check the effectiveness and exactly what it will remove. Note that Goof Off can remove the painted sign itself!
-Reoccuring tags: after cleaning, cover the surface with a very thin layer of Vaseline
-Cleaning Materials: Goof Off Graffiti (blue top), Goof Off regular (red top), Simple Green, Windex, putty knife, rags, Vaseline
-Metal (signs, guard rails, utility boxes): Goof Off
-Painted Surface: First try simple green. Goof Off use with caution and check that you don’t remove the undercoat of paint when removing graffiti; spray cloth and wipe only the graffiti. May need to paint over to cover.
-Stickers (USPS): peel off what you can be hand or with putty knife; spray remaining residue layer with simple green or windex. let set for 10 minutes; scrape or peel and repeat.
-wood: difficult to remove; usually need to paint over
-concrete: simple green or Goof Off red top
-plastic: Goof Off Graffiti; use sparingly on clear plastic/vinyl coverings as this can cause clouded film/surface
